One of the biggest festivals in the Middle East will no longer kick off on Saturday, March 2. Instead, the Abu Dhabi music festival has been pushed back to November with an exact start date and new headline act set to be announced in the next month. Wireless Festival Middle East is making its return for the second year in a row and it’s going to be massive if last year is anything to go by. During the 2023 version, a whopping 25,000 music lovers rocked up to witness the pumping tunes and an epic encore (it was sold out if you remember). It saw artists such as Roddy Ricch, Travis Scott, M.I.A., King, and Young Stunners. It’s one of those events where there’s something for everyone, with an array of hip-hop, urban, rap, R&B, grime, dance, and more. It follows in the footsteps of its hugely successful counterpart, Wireless UK festival. Now, onto the good stuff. The 2024 Wireless Festival Abu Dhabi. Here’s what we know so far.
When is Wireless Festival Middle East?
Keep your November schedule clear as an exact starting date is not yet known.
Where is it?
The festival will take over Etihad Park on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
Who’s performing?
The lineup has yet to be officially released, but we know it will unite international superstars, regional talents, and local gems. It’s the best of everything. What more could you want? Oh, two stages perhaps. Well, you’re in luck. Double stages will amplify the experience, giving festival-goers non-stop entertainment from day to night. Be sure to make a list of who you want to see. You don’t want to miss a beat.
What else can we expect?
A never-ending list of food, beverages, activations, and entertainment that will keep your fun-filled day packed. There won’t be a dull moment. James Craven, President of Live Nation Middle East, apologized for the rescheduling of the event but that the switch will allow them to curate the best possible lineup. He said: ‘After careful consideration and with the utmost dedication to providing the best musical experience for our attendees, we have decided to move the date of the 2024 edition of Wireless Festival to November. This change aims to create an even more unforgettable and enjoyable event, allowing us to curate a lineup that surpasses all expectations.’ While you wait for tickets to drop, check out all the brilliant gigs and concerts coming up in Dubai.
