Exciting Opening of Flayva: A Global Food Hall in Dubai

A new global food hall with 23 street food concepts is opening this month at the oldest mall in Dubai. Flayva, the new mall eating area, will open on February 16 at Al Ghurair Centre and will feature stalls from some favorites of the Dubai fast casual scene such as Allo Beirut, House of Curry, and BaoFriends. Spanning 3,318 square feet, the new culinary hotspot will be able to accommodate around 500 guests at one time. Cuisines featured at Flayva include Indonesian, Vietnamese, Indian, Japanese, Lebanese, Filipino, and Uzbek among others.

Restaurants revealed for the new food hall include Indonesian spot Warung Bandung, Vietnamese Snack Food Cafe, and Uzbeki Cuisine. Fried chicken place Clucks, Siam Thai Food, and Japanese joint Tako Ichiban House will also open at Flayva. The mall was not just the first to open its doors in Dubai but also the entire Middle East, having first launched in 1981. Based in Deira, at the heart of Old Dubai, it is home to more than 250 retail brands across fashion, jewelry, perfumes, home decor, electronics, and more.

Last June, a huge indoor entertainment area opened in the center with 30 different indoor games to play. Flayva will be open Sunday to Thursday from 10 am to 11 pm and on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 1 am. Open daily from Fri Feb 16, Sun – Thu (10 am-11 pm), Fri-Sat (10 am-1 am).
