Public and private sector companies in Dubai are being urged to allow remote working for employees for the second day in a row.Working from home is being encouraged on Tuesday February 13, as Dubai recovers from the aftermath of the unstable weather conditions.Taking to social media on Monday February 12, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) called on private sector companies to allow flexible working patterns on Tuesday February 13.MOHRE advised that “necessary measures need to be taken by companies to ensure outdoor work, if necessary to resume, complies with the occupational health and safety requirements”.The bad Dubai weather this week calls for remote work (Credit: CanvaPro)In a statement on X, formerly Twitter, it added: “Companies also need to ensure the health and safety of workers commuting to and from outdoor work locations”.
