Partnership with Dubai’s RTA

Etihad Rail’s passenger trains are making progress towards becoming a reality with a new partnership with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The RTA will be the ticketing and payment partner for Etihad Rail, allowing nol card users to book tickets and pay fares.

Advancements in Nol Card System

RTA’s recent announcement of a Dhs350 million upgrade to the nol card system, incorporating facial recognition and other biometric data for increased security in payment transactions, further supports Dubai’s journey towards a cashless society and improved online payment security.
