Dubai School Holidays 2024

Dear parents, it’s time to start planning for the next Dubai school holidays, which will start in less than five weeks’ time. Spring break is next up on the Dubai school holidays calendar and this year, it’s an extra special holiday.

Extended Spring Break

Private schools in Dubai are set to get a three-week holiday for spring break, also sometimes known as Easter holidays. Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has announced that private schools in Dubai will be out from Monday March 25 to Monday April 15 2024. This is one week longer than the usual two-week spring break.

Eid Al Fitr Holiday

This longer school holiday has been allocated to accommodate Eid Al Fitr, which is expected to fall on Wednesday April 10 2024. It’s subject to moonsighting but if this should happen, Dubai is looking at a UAE public holiday from Tuesday April 9 to Friday April 12.
