The public holiday is nearly upon us and we could not be more excited.

We now know that the Eid Al Fitr break starts on Monday April 8 and with that comes days of celebration in Dubai.

And every Eid Al Fitr, the skies light up across the city with colourful displays of fireworks to celebrate the start of the holiday.

There will be three consecutive days of shows which will be free to attend dotted around different Dubai hotspots.

The impressive skyline will be the backdrop for three shows and you can even see the mountainside at Hatta lit up with a fireworks show.

Starting from Wednesday April 10, here are the big fireworks shows across Dubai worth keeping in your diary.

Dubai Festival City Mall, April 10

The Dubai Festival City Mall never misses an opportunity to get involved in fireworks celebrations in the city and with the impressive displays they normally put on it’s easy to see why. You can catch the display from 8pm.

Dubai Parks and Resorts, April 10-12

Guests at RIVERLAND at Dubai Parks and Resorts are in for a treat with a fireworks display on the cards on the first day of Eid Al Fitr while there are also daily laser shows lighting up the skies three times every evening.

Global Village, April 10-14

Against the backdrop of Eid Al Fitr celebrations, visitors can enjoy daily musical fireworks displays at 9pm from Wednesday April 10 to Sunday April 14 alongside a lineup of over 200 daily cultural and entertainment shows.

Hatta, First day of Eid Al Fitr

You can see the sky light up at the stunning mountainside at Hatta from 8pm. High up in the Hajar mountains, Hatta is an exclave of Dubai and well worth a day trip during the Eid Al Fitr break.

Al Seef, April 11

This is your chance to see a great show of colourful pyrotechnics set against the picturesque backdrop of Dubai Creek. The show starts at 8pm and is the perfect spot to see both sides of the city.

Eid fireworks in Dubai: Bluewaters and The Beach April 12

One of the most popular hangout spots in Dubai is hosting a fireworks show from 8pm on Friday April 12. The display will be visible from both Bluewaters and The Beach as the Dubai Eye serves as the backdrop for the final day of Eid Al Fitr fireworks.
