In the Middle East, Emirates will operate its first A350 to Bahrain on the daily EK839/840 service from September 15. The frequency of the A350 services will progressively increase to cover two Bahrain services with the second service starting on November 1.
A new daily service will also begin to Kuwait on the daily EK853/854 service on September 16, and the daily service to Muscat (EK866/867) will be replaced by an A350 on December 1.
West Asia
Three A350 aircraft will be deployed to West Asia, with the first being deployed on the EK502/503 flight to Mumbai on October 27. On the same day, Ahmedabad will see an A350 take over the EK538/539 flight.
The final A350 in the region will begin taking passengers on January 1, 2025, flying on the fourth daily service from Colombo (EK654/655).
Europe
In Europe, the A350 will reconnect Edinburgh Airport in Scotland with the Emirates network, as a new flight route will begin from November 4.
Bologna in Italy will also be served by an A350 from December 1, as well as a daily service to and from Lyon beginning on the same date.
What will the Emirates A350 look like?
The inside of the Emirates A350 will have three cabin classes, business, premium economy and economy.
According to the airline, there will be a total of 32 ‘next generation’ business class seats and 21 in premium economy class. 259 seats will be allocated to economy class.
The business class is also set to be something special, with the new next-generation cabins to be displayed for the very first time on the A350.
Boasting a spacious and quiet cabin, high ceilings and expansive bin space, the aircraft will also have new mood lighting to reduce tiredness during the journey.
More cool features of the A350 seats and other facilities will be announced in the next few weeks before the first flight takes off.
Will more Emirates A350 destinations be announced?
Emirates has confirmed that more A350 destinations will be shared in the coming months as they bring more of the aircrafts into the fleet.
Although only 9 destinations are currently confirmed, the airline has stated that they have 65 A350-900s on order for the coming years, with the aim of future growth and to add to the D33 economic agenda set out by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
