Set to officially open in Dubai on Saturday June 1, the Royal Boxing and Fitness Club promises state-of-the-art boxing gear and technology, for those really wanting to improve their technique while working up a (serious) sweat. Proudly situated on the ground floor of the Seven Palm Hotel, this will be the ideal hotspot for short-term gains or long-term commitment, whether you opt in for a dedicated sparring session or group kickboxing class.

Dubbed a ‘super club for women’ this is the place for, you guessed it, women only. Try a range of boutique classes, such as barre, yoga or boxing and many others, for free. Offering a range of classes, GymNation is a favourite in Dubai. Expect classes you will likely be familiar with, like body pump and yoga, but also something different on the timetable too, such as jumpnation, CrossFit, and a Bollywood dancing workout. Locations are dotted around the city and each one offers a free class for new customers.

Wellfit gym in Jumeirah Village Circle is said to be the largest indoor health and fitness club in Dubai, boasting world-class facilities and amenities. It offers over 300 weekly classes and has hundreds of cardio equipment. Unfortunately, the free trial is not available here, but you can book yourself in for the taster at its Meydan and Sharjah locations. Simply sign up online to bag a generous and free three-day pass.

If you’re familiar with the London workout scene, chances are you may have already tried the 1Rebel experience already. Having arrived in DIFC last year, Dubai residents are able to try two of its signature classes for free: Ride and Reshape. Ride is 1Rebel’s version of a spin class, and a Reshape is a mix of interval training and weights. Redeem your free class by simply showing your Emirates ID.

Into letting off steam with a boxing session? Head to BoxIQ in Al Quoz for a free session. Boxing coach Joe Ackary, the founder behind the gym, offers a range of classes, all with boxing at their core. Whether you’re a newbie or familiar with a punch bag, the first class is free whichever you choose.
