The stars of WWE are coming to the Middle East to crown a new King and Queen of the Ring this weekend.

Tickets start from as little as Dhs44 and offer a rare opportunity to see the biggest stars of WWE in the Middle East, you’ll just need to make a trip across the border to see all the action live.

For the first time ever, there will be a live broadcast of the weekly SmackDown show from Saudi Arabia, which will then be followed up by the premium live event King and Queen of the Ring.

As for when we can expect to see the WWE return to Dubai, insiders say that nothing is certain at the moment but keep an eye on Time Out Dubai for any developments.

What matches will be on the King and Queen of the Ring?

The King and Queen of the Ring finalists will be officially confirmed on the SmackDown show with either Randy Orton or Tama Tonga set to face GUNTHER for the king crown.

And youngster Lyra Valkyria will need to beat either Bianca Belair or Nia Jax if she wants to become Queen of the Ring.

Elsewhere on the card, the Undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes will face off against the YouTuber and United States champion Logan Paul.

Irish grappler Becky Lynch takes on Liv Morgan in WWE women’s championship action while the Canadian-Syrian Intercontinental champion Sami Zayn faces Chad Gable and Bronson Reed in a triple-threat match.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown in the Middle East

Part of the 10-year deal struck with WWE, Jeddah will host WWE Friday Night SmackDown in Saudi Arabia for the first time.

It’s one of the two weekly televised shows which helps progress the storylines within the federation towards the big monthly premium live events.

King and Queen of the Ring

The King of the Ring has been a tradition for decades in the WWE but this is the first time ever that an event named the King and Queen of the Ring will be held.

Whoever wins their tournament will be given a shot at a championship title later in the year.

Where is the WWE in the Middle East show this year?

Both events will be held at the 35,000-seat Jeddah Superdome, the largest geodesic dome in the world.

When will the WWE in the Middle East 2024 shows be?

Friday Night SmackDown will take over screens on Friday May 24 and the King and Queen of the Ring will be crowned on Saturday May 25.
