The capital of Georgia is a photogenic city. Take the cable car ride, located next to the river, for stunning views of the city. The thing that will dominate these photographs will be the bow-shaped Bridge of Peace over the River Kura. (You can walk across it later – and take more pictures.) At the end of your gondola ride, you’ll find yourself well on the way to the Fortress Narikala but not before you are stopped by hawkers with exotic birds trying to get you to take a photo with them for a small sum.
