The most affordable rounds of summer golf in Dubai

Address Montgomerie Dubai

This course has 123 acres of playable turf in a 265-acre environment. The 18 on the Championship course is a notorious 656-yard Par 5 monster. Prices fluctuate at Montgomerie Dubai with the best rates always available online. The flat rack rate for 18 holes costs is Dhs550 every day of the week Dhs575. While Twilight rounds go for Dhs315 on weekends and Dhs275 on weekdays. All green fees include a GPS-equipped cart, bottled water, warm-up range balls and first tee amenities.

Arabian Ranches Golf Club

Secluded in the Arabian Ranches Estate on the city’s fringe, Arabian Ranches will be restricted to holes 1 to 9 until September. The rack rate for 18 holes costs Dhs400 every day of the week. Twilight rounds go for Dhs215 on weekends and Dhs175 on weekdays, while Super Twilight rates fall to Dhs175 daily. Tee times move on the daily, so call ahead to see when you can make those extra savings.

Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club

Golfers love the water (as long as they aren’t splashing down in it), and set alongside the banks of Dubai Creek, this golf club is postcard perfect. You’ll have to part with Dhs375 for a round at the weekend and Dhs330 if you prefer weekday tees, but you’ll be greeted with lush lawns and vibrant views. Twilight rates are priced at Dhs230 on the weekends and Dhs200 on weekdays – the same as the usual 9-hole round. Keep your eye on the website as discounts continue to pop up throughout the summer.

Dubai Hills Golf Club

Views of the skyline come part and parcel of a round at this otherwise secluded spot towards the edge of town. There’s no summer membership, and it’s towards the expensive end of the scale at Dhs550 for a round of 18 from Monday to Thursday and Dhs575 between Friday and Sunday. However, approach at twilight to see that price shrink to Dhs275 Monday to Thursday and Dhs315 between Friday and Sunday.

Emirates Golf Club

You have two options at Emirates Golf Club. You can follow the lead of the pros on the Majlis Course which has a flat rate of Dhs660 every day of the week. If you’re doing a 9-hole round then that’ll cost Dhs435 which is the same price as the twilight round.

Or, you can try your luck on the Faldo course which was designed by legendary ex-pro Nick Faldo. The week day rate on the Faldo course is Dhs400 for 18 holes and Dhs455 on the weekend. Twilight rounds are Dhs600 for 18 holes.

Jumeirah Golf Estates

Ready to conquer the elements? Well, two of them at least. Green fees for the 18 holes at Jumeirah Golf Estates’ earth course are Dhs475 during the week and Dhs580 (Friday to Sunday) while the fire course is Dhs445 on weekdays and Dhs495 on the weekends. Twilight rates are the same as the 9-hole rate for both courses. For earth, it’s Dhs350 on the weekend and Dhs285 on weekdays. And for fire, it’s Dhs300 on the weekend and Dhs270 during the week.

The Els Club at Dubai Sports City

Backed by South African legend Ernie Els this club boasts a course of a whopping 7,538 yards. It is made up of four sets of tees, giving players of all skill levels a fair test. During the summer golf season, it’ll be Dhs375 for a round of golf on week days and Dhs435 on weekends for UAE residents while visitors will pay Dhs520 for a round. Outside summer the rate is Dhs875 on week days and Dhs715 on weekends for UAE residents while visitors pay Dhs1,045.

The Track, Meydan Golf

Much like its renowned horseracing track, summer rates at Meydan’s golf course (similarly titled) are flat. During the weekend, it’s Dhs420 for a round of 18 holes and Dhs380 on week days. You can get a better rate if you download the Troon app.

Trump International Golf Club

Golfers rave about Trump’s Dubai-based course, which has a very presidential air about it. Make your rounds great again with the 18 at Dhs600 in the week or Dhs800 on weekends. And the night golf rate is Dhs275 which is the same as the 9-hole rate. But if you book through the website, you’ll usually get a much cheaper rate for all tee times. Now that’s ‘yuge’, as the man himself would say.
