Take a moonlight dip in one of the most sought after rooftop pools in Dubai at Cloud 22 this summer. Gazing out over the bright lights of Palm Jumeirah, visitors can book any of the beds or cabanas to lounge on after sunset. The price of your swim depends on the beds booked. However, you can get access to the moonlight dips from Dhs300 (minimum spend), which allows bar, lounge and pool access.

Ginger Moon

The views at Ginger Moon are impressive during the day, but there’s something very special about floating here at night. Located in the W-Dubai Mina Seyahi, look out over the harbour and all the way across to Bluewaters as you enjoy the waters after dark. If you get peckish, make the most of the ‘Moon Bites’ menu with the likes of calamari and crispy sushi on offer.

Tucked away at the top of the La Ville Hotel & Suites, the pool lets you look out onto the glittering Burj Khalifa and get a few lengths in of an evening. Returning this summer for its fifth year, your ticket price is also redeemable on food and drink, so you can grab a snack after your dip.

Kite Beach

The beach is open after dark, and is completely free if you want to head down and take a dip. Floodlit by large lamps letting swimmers head out safely, you float underneath the moon and enjoy the warm waters for the evening.

If you want to make a night of it, why not head down before sunset bringing a picnic from home, then watch sun dip behind Burj Al Arab before having a star-lit swim.

Jumeirah Beach

Also part of the free night swimming initiative, you can plunge into the waters at Jumeirah 2 and get your toes in the sand after the sun goes down. Also covered by the safe swimming lamps, you’ll be able to splash around in the waves without a care in the world.

Terra Solis

Kicking off from June 8, the beach oasis will be offering up some incredible summer swims after dark. Running every Saturday night, the pool will be surrounded by a resident DJ, performers and even fire shows. Float under the stars and redeem the cost of your ticket on food and drinks while you’re there. Lighting up the desert in the summer months, the pool parties are a must-try this summer.
