There’s a cute little yoga studio in Loft Offices, Building Two. Akasa, meaning space in Sanskrit, is a sanctuary for yogis among the surrounding offices.
Daily classes at Akasa yoga studio include Hatha, power yoga, vinyasa flow, yin yoga, yoga for beginners, and special lunchtime classes.
Currently, the morning classes start at 7.15am, so if you start at 9am, you can salute the sun before you head to the office.

The one-stop salon, spa and fitness centre opened earlier this year on Palm Jumeirah, and there’s loads to love.

Crimson Chamber Yoga and Wellness Studio
The owner of Crimson Chamber in JVC was moved by the area’s peace and quiet and decided to turn it into a haven for people to practice yoga. All ages and fitness levels are welcome in their specialised lessons, and to top that off therapy sessions are available for patients going through a healing process.
Being small in size, you get extra attention from the instructors which is nice when you’re a beginner or looking to deepen your practice.

Dhyana Dubai

The newly opened studio in Dubai Marina offers a range of yoga classes, as well as barre and pilates. With a goal of improving both your mind and body, the brand first opened in Singapore in 2018 and has now opened a site in Dubai.
As well as group classes, you can also opt for personal training sessions to really improve your form.

Paus Cafe & Community
A cafe meets yoga studio concept, there’s a real community feel at this quirky spot in Umm Suqeim. They offer a variety of classes including yin, Hatha and vinyasa along with workshops and sound healing classes.
Make sure you leave enough time for a post-yoga refuel at the cafe.

Reform Athletica
This boutique studio, which offers a range of yoga classes plus reformer pilates, HIIT and more, opened its first branch in Jumeirah in 2018 and is set to open its second in DIFC in September.
Classes are small with a maximum of 12 participants and you can even do Vin to Yin classes that begin with vinyasa practice to gently stretch out our muscles and joints before transitioning into a Yin practice, holding poses passively longer in order to delve deeper into stretching.

One of Dubai’s most Instagrammable yoga studios, this is where social media yoga girls go to practice their flows. With two rooms to choose from, you can practice in depending on what class you’d like to do. The Box has a unique lighting system and great music, plus the room is heated to 34 degrees so get prepared to sweat when flowing here.
The Greenhouse is a light, earthly room with a plant wall to top it off and here you can do Hatha, yin and yoga Nidra classes. Post-class make sure you pick up one of their smoothies.

Trident Wellness Centre
Home to some of the leading yogis and most varied yoga practices in the Emirate. Ease your way in with Hatha or yin before taking on the vinyasa, ashtanga, Iyengar or power yoga classes. The studio also offers pre-natal, ashtanga and Jivamukti; a newer yoga founded in 1984 which is mainly vinyasa flow-style.
Classes often start with a series of chants before moving on to poses, meditation, setting intentions and even deep listening through spoken word or music. Plus, it has some of the best views over Dubai Marina around.

This popular and trendy US gym name has a brand-new spot – and its first UAE gym – in Al Safa. Found along Al Wasl Road this studio is now open, and there are loads of classes to check out, whatever your fitness level and exercise style.
