Since its opening in 2021, Dubai Hills Estate’s restaurant offering keeps getting better and better and better.
The neighbourhood which boasts modern apartment complexes, is near the newest shopping mall in the city, Dubai Hills Mall, and even has its own skatepark.
And soon, the area is about to get an even better dining scene as lots of new restaurants and bars are in the pipeline.

Restaurants and bars open now at Dubai Hills Business Park
Avatara
Avatara is the world’s first and only Indian vegetarian fine dining destination and is led by Gault&Millau UAE award-winning chef Rahul Rana. The innovative spot has relocated to the up-and-coming foodie destination, Dubai Hills Business Park. This culinary spot first opened its doors in Dubai in March 2022 at the voco Hotel, where it was shortlisted at the Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards 2023. It features a menu Made up of 17 courses each dedicated to a specific chakra. You can expect dishes like okra chili thecha, dal vada with beetroot kanji, jackfruit momo, horsegram curry and much more.

Croq Michel
From Chef Michel Sarran, Croq Michel serves up tasty croque monsieurs (sweet and savoury) to hungry Dubai Hills residents and visitors. When you’re craving a toasted sarnie, Croq Michel could be a good shout.

D U O Gastrobar
DUO Gastrobar is now open. Helmed by Russian chefs Dmitry Blinov and Renat Malikov, the new fine-dining spot aims to bring the “essence of Saint Petersburg” to Dubai. The restaurant offers modern European cuisine with a touch of Asia. With all kinds of seasonal dishes, the menu offers up dishes with interesting combinations like broccoli pate with pine nuts, tuna ceviche with cucumber and cilantro, yellowtail with black truffle and horseradish, oxtail pie with taleggio and young cabbage with black truffle. The licensed venue also offers classic mixed drinks and a large list of grape.

Hoe Lee Kow
Chef Reif Othman has brought an unconventional (and licensed) Korean BBQ concept, Hoe Lee Kow, to the city. Located at Dubai Hills Business Park, the restaurant is Othman’s first venture into Korean cuisine in Dubai. The menu features non-traditional Korean BBQs and dishes that are the chef’s own interpretation of Korean cuisine. The venue concept is a perfect lunch spot throughout the week and a cosy dinner choice on evenings and weekends for the neighbourhood residents and beyond.

MOLI by SHI
Chinese restaurant and lounge Moli by Shi offers high-end Chinese food with a strong focus on dim sum and rice pots. The interiors are more on the traditional side with elements reminiscent of a Chinese temple. Good vibes all around.

Pitfire
The Time Out Dubai Restaurant Award winner for Best Pizzeria now has a new licensed outpost in the up-and-coming foodie neighbourhood of Dubai Hills. Pitfire is loved around Dubai for its sourdough creations, serving up pizza that’s not quite Neapolitan and not quite New York. Here, you’ll be able to get a slice with a pint. Perfect meal? We think so.

Reif Japanese Kushiyaki
Already the owner of several popular restaurants in the city; Reif Japanese Kushiyaki in Al Wasl, Soleside and REIF at Time Out Market Dubai, the restaurateur has added another location to his portfolio. The Reif Japanese Kushiyaki brings the flavours and concept of the Dar Wasl location to Dubai Hills residents. Able to host 118 covers, Reif Japanese Kushiyaki has a more expansive menu than that found in the original location and serves beverages as it’s licensed.

Revelry
The team behind Trèsind Studio and Avatara’s opened Revelry, an Indian tapas bar that blends traditional Indian culinary heritage with modern gastronomy, offering tapas-style dishes that showcase India’s diverse regions. The bar menu is made with an appreciation for India’s diverse climatic conditions, which give rise to four distinct seasons: summer, autumn, monsoon, and winter. Revelry’s menu is a creation brought to life by the head mixologist, Vince Varghese, in collaboration with chef Rahul Rana- the man behind Avatara.

Tania’s Teahouse
The famous Tania’s Teahouse which was previously located in Jumeirah has reopened its doors in Dubai Hills, featuring an expanded dine-in area and three event spaces. It’s also licensed to serve house beverages, making it a perfect spot for happy hour. Designed with neutral tones and vibrant colours, the space is all cosy lighting, mood-boosting plants, and eclectic decor. The Tea Room, a secret lounge, offers upgraded drinks and cocktails. The revamped menu caters to diverse dietary needs.

The Tap House
The Tap House now has its third branch in the city at Dubai Hills Business Park and it is pretty much rammed every night. Fans of the spot will know that the brand first opened at Club Vista Mare in 2017 followed by a Souk Al Bahar brand in 2022. Sure to attract those who love plates of hearty pub grub, the menu will feature comforting favourites from fish and chips to steak and pies. Other dishes will be salmon teriyaki, wok-tossed black pepper beef and loads of nibbles to munch on when you meet for drinks with the gang.
