As we transition from the long, sweltering summer months, Dubai is buzzing with excitement as many of our beloved attractions reopen for the new season. During the peak summer heat, it’s not uncommon for some of the city’s top tourist destinations to temporarily close, allowing residents and visitors to escape the soaring temperatures and humidity.
However, returning to these favorite spots might come with a slight surprise — an increase in ticket prices. While we shouldn’t be overly concerned as these hikes are relatively minor, anyone who frequented these attractions last year should be prepared to bring a bit more cash to enjoy their day out.
Dubai Tourist Attractions: Butterfly Garden
Price increase: Dhs5
The Butterfly Garden (Credit: ITP Images) is home to over 15,000 enchanting butterflies and is conveniently located next to the Dubai Miracle Garden. This vibrant attraction has recently seen a modest ticket price adjustment, with adult tickets now priced at Dhs60, while children aged three to 12 can enter for Dhs55. Admission remains free for children under three years old. Earlier this year, tickets for adults were available for Dhs55, marking a small Dhs5 increase. However, with an Emirates ID, adults can enter for Dhs50, and children between three and 12 can enjoy a ticket for Dhs45.
Dubai Tourist Attractions: Dubai Parks and Resorts
Price increase: Dhs5
Located within Dubai Parks and Resorts, Riverland has a new entry fee of Dhs20 if purchased at the gate. However, savvy visitors can save by buying their tickets online for just Dhs15, allowing for a quicker entrance on the day of their visit. Additionally, guests who purchase tickets for other attractions within Dubai Parks and Resorts, such as Motiongate, Legoland, or Real Madrid World, can enjoy complimentary access to Riverland.
Dubai Tourist Attractions: Garden Glow
Price increase: Dhs8.75
Dubai Garden Glow is back for its 10th season, and ticket prices have experienced a slight increase, now set at Dhs78.75, up from the previous price of Dhs70. Children under three can enter for free. Your ticket grants access to the glow park, dinosaur park, and art park, although a visit to the Magic Park will require an additional Dhs45, plus a five percent VAT charge.
Dubai Tourist Attractions: Miracle Garden
Price increase: Dhs5
For those planning a visit to the Dubai Miracle Garden, be aware of a small ticket price increase. Adult tickets are now Dhs100, while children aged three to 12 can enter for Dhs85. In 2023, these prices were Dhs95 for adults and Dhs80 for children. Interestingly, UAE residents benefit from a price reduction, with tickets available for Dhs60 for both adults and children when presenting an Emirates ID, compared to Dhs60 in 2023.
