Dubai, the largest city in the United Arab Emirates, is set to celebrate in grand style for the upcoming national festivities. In an announcement that has residents and visitors buzzing with excitement, Dubai has unveiled a month-long series of spectacular events to honor UAE Flag Day and the forthcoming UAE National Day. From UAE Flag Day on Sunday, November 3, to UAE National Day on Monday, December 2, an array of activities will take place at some of Dubai’s most iconic landmarks, including Expo City, Dubai Frame, Museum of the Future, Mall of the Emirates, and Dubai Airports. As the nation prepares to celebrate its 53rd birthday, expect to see dazzling light displays and breathtaking fireworks throughout the month.

This vibrant celebration has been orchestrated by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the second deputy ruler of Dubai, as well as the chairman of the Dubai Media Council and Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office. A total of 16 government, semi-government, and private sector organizations in Dubai will collaborate to organize a variety of events and activities under this campaign.

Expo City will host two free public concerts in celebration of the 53rd UAE National Day, also known as Eid Al Etihad, at the breathtaking Al Wasl Dome. The Al Wasl Plaza will be adorned with UAE flags and traditional Emirati decorations, accompanied by cultural performances. Additionally, the plaza will feature the Emirati Harvest Market, showcasing locally grown agricultural and food products.

As part of the festivities, renowned Arab artists and traditional performances will be featured at some of Dubai’s most prestigious venues, promising an unforgettable experience. A Union Day Parade will take place at City Walk on Monday, December 2, showcasing traditional dances, cultural performances, and a vibrant carnival atmosphere. Spectacular fireworks displays will light up the evenings of December 2 and 3 at various locations, including JBR Beach, Al Seef, Hatta, and Dubai Festival City Mall. Additionally, seasonal markets and special offers at restaurants and hotels will enhance the celebratory ambiance. Hatta will also join the festivities, offering fireworks, traditional folk dances, and live music to showcase the area’s cultural heritage, while Global Village will present nightly fireworks throughout the celebrations.

Museum of the Future, Mall of the Emirates, and RTA Bridges to Get a Makeover

The Museum of the Future will be adorned with flags that feature the #ZayedAndRashid campaign logo, which symbolizes the founders shaking hands. During the celebration period, tickets to the museum will also showcase this logo, and a special commemorative video will be shared across social media platforms. Major shopping destinations, such as City Centre Mirdif and Mall of the Emirates, will be decorated from Friday, November 15, to Saturday, December 7, offering a mix of entertainment and educational events, including live music. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will illuminate key streets and bridges in Dubai with the national flag and festive lights. Iconic locations such as the Infinity Bridge and Business Bay Crossing will be lit up, while electronic screens on the Dubai Metro and Dubai Tram will display the #ZayedAndRashid logo. Wasl Asset Management Group will also contribute to the celebrations by lighting up several of its properties, including the Wasl Experience Centre, Dar Wasl, Wasl 51, and Wasl 1.
