Ushuaïa Opens in Dubai with a Bang
Opening its doors in October 2024, the vibrant essence of Ibiza has officially landed in Dubai with the grand launch of the open-air super club, Ushuaïa. The venue kicked off its festivities with an electrifying celebration, featuring dazzling fireworks, captivating drone shows, and an incredible lineup of music that drew over 15,000 enthusiastic revelers to witness the iconic Calvin Harris perform on Saturday, October 26. Since then, Ushuaïa has continued to host an array of international artists, including the renowned Swiss duo Adriatique.
However, following the Adriatique performance on Saturday, November 16, Ushuaïa took to Time Out Dubai to announce some exciting changes aimed at enhancing the experience for every ticket holder. Initially, the club implemented a wristband payment system that required guests to top up their bands and manually request refunds at the end of the night. In response to valuable feedback from patrons, this system has now been phased out.
In a move to streamline operations and improve guest convenience, Ushuaïa has transitioned to accepting cash and card payments exclusively. This change eliminates the need for wristband top-ups and refunds, resulting in quicker-moving queues and a more seamless experience for everyone. Ushuaïa stated: “We’ve carefully listened to our guests’ feedback regarding wristband payments and refunds, and to address these concerns, we’ve made some significant changes.”
In addition to the payment system overhaul, Ushuaïa has also upgraded its facilities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for all attendees. New restroom facilities have been introduced within the venue, enhancing convenience. “This improvement was implemented starting with the Adriatique Present X show, and we remain committed to maintaining this level of accessibility at all future events,” the organizers confirmed.

This policy aims to enhance the overall experience and prevent any disruptions. They stated: “While we understand the desire to plan ahead, we’re unable to share set times in advance. Sharing a start time for the main acts could result in late arrivals, leading to traffic congestion around the venue and disrupting the flow of the immersive experience we aim to create at Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience.”
Looking ahead, the next highlight on Ushuaïa’s calendar is the world-renowned DJ Black Coffee, who is set to grace the stage on Saturday, December 28.
