India is set to bring a formidable lineup to Dubai for the highly anticipated ICC Champions Trophy. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled a robust 15-man squad featuring some of the biggest names in cricket, including captain Rohit Sharma, batting sensation Virat Kohli, and the reigning ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year, Jasprit Bumrah.

All of India’s matches will be hosted in Dubai during this prestigious one-day international tournament. Given the strength of their squad, the team is a strong contender for the finals, which are also expected to take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Important Update: On December 19, the ICC approved plans for India and Pakistan to compete at neutral venues, with an official confirmation on December 24 about India’s matches being held in Dubai.

Having won the Champions Trophy twice, in 2002 and 2013, chief selector Ajit Agarkar is optimistic about securing a third title with the squad detailed below.

  • Shreyas Iyer

    Right-handed batsman Shreyas Iyer led the Kolkata Knight Riders to an IPL title last year and will be eager to carry that momentum into the ODI format.
