Experience the Enchantment of the Dubai Fountain Show
The Dubai Fountain Show is undoubtedly one of the most iconic attractions in Dubai, captivating visitors with its mesmerizing performance. Since its inauguration in May 2009, this remarkable fountain system has held the title of the world’s largest choreographed fountain. With water jets that soar up to an impressive 150 meters, the fountain offers a stunning visual display that is absolutely free to enjoy. Each show is accompanied by a diverse range of music and synchronized light displays, often enhanced by the backdrop of the majestic Burj Khalifa. While it’s tempting to capture every moment on camera, take a moment to soak in the experience with your own eyes. Please note that on February 5, 2025, EMAAR announced a five-month closure starting in May for a comprehensive refurbishment and upgrade of the fountain, so plan your visit accordingly.
Where to Find the Dubai Fountain
The Dubai Fountain is strategically located in front of the iconic Burj Khalifa, right in the heart of Downtown Dubai. If you’re taking the metro, hop on the Dubai Metro red line to the Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station. From there, you can easily navigate through the connecting walkway into the mall, following the signs leading to the fountain. For those driving, ample parking is available at various Dubai Mall car parks. However, keep in mind that these facilities are now managed by Salik, so there may be a fee based on your parking duration.
Dubai Fountain Show Timings
The Dubai Fountain offers its main shows every half hour from 6 PM to 11 PM daily, and the best part is that attendance is completely free. In addition to the evening performances, a shorter daytime display occurs every 30 minutes from 1 PM to 1:30 PM (and 2 PM on Fridays). Each show features a blend of enchanting music, ranging from Arabic hits to international classics, creating a magical atmosphere as the water jets dance in sync.
