Dubai Launches Creators HQ for Content Creators
Dubai has recently unveiled an exciting new initiative designed to provide significant advantages for content creators residing in the emirate. The Creators HQ aims to support influencers by offering relocation assistance, hosting a variety of specialized workshops, and facilitating access to the highly coveted UAE Golden Visa.
Located at the iconic Emirates Towers, the Creators HQ is a key component of the 1 Billion Followers Summit currently taking place in Dubai, which seeks to draw more content creators to the city. This initiative is set to enhance the influence of creators within the nation and builds on the recently announced Dhs150 million Content Creators Support Fund that was introduced at the 2024 summit.
The 2025 edition of the summit witnessed the gathering of over 15,000 content creators, featuring more than 420 speakers and 125 CEOs and global experts from January 11 to January 13. With the opening of the Creators HQ, influencers in Dubai now have a dedicated space to receive assistance with their Golden Visa applications (Credit: WAM).
This initiative is set to host 300 events and workshops annually, addressing the escalating needs of the global creator economy. Members who join the Creators HQ will benefit from a variety of services, including help with UAE Golden Visa applications, relocation support, and guidance on company setup and registration.
The Golden Visa permits individuals to reside in the UAE for a period ranging from five to ten years without the need for renewal or a national sponsor, making it an attractive option for international creators looking for stability in their work environment.
Dubai is keen to cultivate the talents of content creators through specialized camps for young influencers, mentorship programs, funding opportunities, and workshops that focus on essential skills such as branding, video production, storytelling, audience engagement, monetization, and securing sponsorships. The newly established Creators HQ is strategically targeting key players within the creative industries, such as advertising and marketing firms, media and music production companies, animation studios, as well as fashion and lifestyle brands. Furthermore, Dubai plans to collaborate with various social media platforms, streaming services, gaming and esports companies, as well as developers specializing in virtual and augmented reality, and start-ups focused on AI and machine learning.
Mohammad Al Gergawi, the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, emphasized the UAE’s commitment to supporting influencers in their creative endeavors. He stated, “The launch of the Creators HQ in the UAE marks a significant milestone that aligns with our national objective of maximizing the positive impact of content and its role in community development. Our primary goal is to unite global content creators in the UAE, a place celebrated for its cultural diversity, where they will find unparalleled support and opportunities for connection with funding sources and investors to innovate and broaden their reach.”
He further added, “As the world continues to evolve, particularly within the content and digital media landscapes, we must be prepared to harness the positive effects of this progress, while navigating its challenges and directing it towards the greater good of humanity.”
